It is understood that Resolution Life, the investment vehicle, is in pole position to grab it for £875m. R&SA would not comment on the sale. News of the sale at the end of June initially saw R&SA's shares increase to 84p but it has since slithered down to 78.25p.Finally, The Innovation Group experienced a 13.3% drop this week following spread betting firm City Index selling £7.25m shares.
