Broker Sterling Hamilton Wright has announced it will form a strategic alliance with motor specialist insurer Sabre.
From 1 January 2003, Sterling Hamilton Wright will provide Sabre with marketing and guarantee services. The alliance aims to develop Sabre's agency base.
Underwriting director Patrick Swords said: "All of our business is written through intermediaries, so we are obviously very committed to the broker channel.
"Our consistent success has and will continue to be based on the philosophy of strict pricing control, discipline through the cycle and underwriting profit."
He added: "We don't demand high levels of support from our agents, but they must have electronic data interchange capabilities."
