Broker software house SSP which suffered a major outage has said it is still struggling to get its system back up and running.
Brokers have not been able to access SSP’s Pure Broking system since Friday which has left them unable to log on to certain services.
In a note to brokers this morning SSP said: “We continued to make progress with a dedicated team working around the clock, and will provide regular updates throughout the day.
“All updates will continue to be distributed via email, SMS and displayed on the Customer Portal.
“Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused and be assured this remains the number one priority for SSP.”
The problem has caused brokers to take to Twitter to express their anger and frustration.
One broker referred to the situation as “unforgivable for a large technology company”, adding, ”whatever the reason, this is their fundamental job”.
The power outage occurred as a result of a major incident at SSP’s Solihull data centre.
