Select & Protect, the provider of general insurance through financial intermediaries, appoints Paul Firkins as head of sales.
Select & Protect has boosted its intermediary operations by capturing ex-Heath Lambert director, Paul Firkins, as head of sales.
Firkins, who was divisional director at Heath Lambert Insurance Services, focusing on building society and mortgage lender schemes, was responsible for developing and bringing to market ‘first4cover’, a general insurance platform aimed at the mortgage lender and intermediary market.
Bruce Reid, managing director of Select & Protect, said: “Paul has 18 years insurance experience, many within the personal lines industry and specifically within the mortgage lender and intermediary market. His appointment demonstrates our continued focus to develop and expand our proposition further."
Firkins will be responsible for assessing opportunities in new markets in a bid to grow the company's sales proposition.
"He has a wide knowledge of the insurance and financial sector and his varied experience makes him ideally suited to our business plans for the future. I’m confident his appointment will make a valuable contribution to the growth and development of Select & Protect,” Reid added.
