Sean Lowther replaces Denise Cockrem
RSA has appointed Sean Lowther as its UK & Western Europe chief financial officer.
Lowther has worked for RSA for seven years and is currently the chief financial officer for the company’s emerging market business.
He replaces Denise Cockrem, who is joining the Wiltshire-based energy company Good Energy as its chief financial officer. Lowther will start his new role in May 2014.
RSA Insurance UK & Western Europe chief executive Adrian Brown said: “I’m pleased to have filled this role internally, which is testament to the calibre of our people.
“Sean brings a wealth of finance experience to the UK. He has an excellent knowledge of the company and is a highly experienced CFO. I look forward to Sean providing a fresh perspective to my leadership team.”
Lowther said: “I’m pleased to be continuing my career at RSA at an exciting time for the group. I look forward to working closely with Adrian and the rest of the executive team as we continue to realise our ambitions for the business.”
