CII said broker was commended for ongoing learning and ethical behaviour
RK Harrison Insurance Services (RKHIS), the UK retail arm of RKH Group, has been awarded a corporate chartered insurance broker status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
The broker, which has about 200 employees, has seven trading divisions covering private wealth and commercial disciplines; specialising in high-net-worth, rural, fine art, corporate, professional risks, real estate and contingency.
CII director of financial markets Steve Jenkins said the broker was commended for its high professional standards, ongoing learning and ethical behaviour.
RKHIS managing director Stuart Rootham added: “Fewer than 5% of broking firms in the UK have achieved corporate chartered status, which sets RKHIS apart as a company to do business with and as a company to work for.
“As an employee-owned firm our most important stakeholders are our clients and our employees, and chartered status entirely accords with our goals for the business: clients benefit from an ongoing commitment to expert advice and execution, and employees get support and professional development that benefits their careers.”
