Marsh transfers former HSBC Insurance Brokers professional indemnity team to RK Harrison
Marsh has transferred the former HSBC Insurance Brokers professional indemnity team to RK Harrison Insurance Services (RKHIS)
As part of this transfer, a team of eight led by Chris Allen and comprising Richard Harnack, Terry Seager, Edward Donne, Darryl Stoner, Dominic Rooney, Anna Riseman and Jimmy Lambert, joins RKHIS with immediate effect. RKHIS will be establishing a new professional risks department allowing the team to provide market leading PI products and services to support RKHIS’s Commercial operations.
Roy White, head of Marsh’s FINPRO practice, said: “Following a detailed post-close review of HIBL’s PI portfolio we concluded that a portion of it lacks synergies with the Marsh portfolio and its transfer to another broker would benefit all parties. We are pleased to have completed this transaction with RKHIS and Marsh and ex-HIBL colleagues are now developing robust plans to integrate the rest of the portfolio and drive their expansion.”
