Kwik-Fit Insurance Services is to change its name to reflect its expanding range of products, revealed a report.
The company is to be rebranded as Kwik-Fit Financial Services, and will operate in two divisions.
The insurance arm will deal with its personal lines offerings, comprising home, car, travel and pet insurance products, while the finance division will offer new products, mortgages, personal loans and life assurance, said the report.
Managing director Martin Oliver said: "Over the past year the business has evolved to become more than just an insurance provider.
"We have moved towards offering an expanding range of financial services and it's important that our name reflects this.
"This change means we will undoubtedly attract more customers and will target our marketing efforts more effectively."
According to the report, the announcement comes in the wake of a £1m advertising campaign to boost the company's profile in Scotland.
Last year sales reached £33m and pretax profits doubled, said the report.
