Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA) has received a bid for its life business from US investor Chris Flowers, revealed a report.
Flowers is believed to have put together a consortium to buy the R&SA life subsidiary, worth at least £600m.
According to the report, potential members of the consortium include Hugh Osmond, the entrepreneur who earlier this year attempted to buy Six Continents, as well as Indian entrepreneur Ravi Sinha.
