Moody's has placed the A- (good) performance rating of Lloyd's Syndicate 609, managed by Atrium Underwriters, under review with the possibility of an upgrade.
The rating review follows the recent announcement of the marine Syndicates' results for the 2001 year of account, and forecasts for 2002 and 2003.
The ratings agency said it expected the Syndicate to eventually record results in excess of the current mid-point forecasts for 2002 and 2003, and that similar results, assuming a ‘normal' loss year, will be achieved for 2004.
