Harvey to take over as chairman of remuneration committee

JLT has announced that John Paynter intends to retire from the board at the end of June 2012.

Paynter has taken the decision in light of his increasing range of other commitments. He has been on the JLT board since October 2008 and has been chairman of the remuneration committee for the past three years.

Richard Harvey will take over as chairman of the remuneration committee with immediate effect.

JLT said in an announcement to the London Stock Exchange that the board was grateful to Paynter for his valuable contribution over the past few years.

The nominations committee is considering the board composition and balance following his departure and further announcements will be made, said JLT.
