Change in senior role to follow Trott’s departure
Oak managing director Bob Trott is to retire at the end of June after a nine-year stint with the company during which he piloted its merger into RSA.
The underwriting agency specialising in high net worth clients was acquired by RSA in April 2011. The position of Oak managing director will not be retained following Trott’s departure.
Instead, the firm is appointing a managing director of private clients to lead its new private client division.
RSA Personal Lines Broker director Jill White, who will manage the division in the interim, said: “We are grateful to Bob for the work he did in ensuring our businesses were integrated smoothly.
“I’d like to thank him for the fantastic contribution he has made. I wish him every success in the future.”
Trott said: “I have seen RSA and Oak grow together to become a key player in the market. With the recent launch of the private client division it now makes sense for me to retire.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the last few years and I have no doubt that the ones following will continue to be just as great for the business.”
