Appoints former Axis Capital vice-president
Novae has strengthened its financial institutions (FI) team with the appointment of underwriter Tracy Lee Kus.
Kus moved to Novae from Axis Capital where she worked for 18 months as vice-president and before that spent five years as a director at Aon financial services. She previously worked for AIG in her native South Africa.
She said:: "Novae's FI business is renowned around the world and leads on many risks and I'm delighted to be joining such a distinguished underwriting team. My new role is challenging and rewarding and the people here are fantastic."

Novae claims to be a market leader in the provision of FI insurance, leading 70 per cent of the business it underwrites. Its team has built up a worldwide client base, with particular emphasis on the UK, the US, South Africa, Canada and Australia.
