Ex-AIG man John Gibson takes on the role
Novae Insurance has appointed John Gibson as regional manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland, starting from early November.
Gibson has been charged with developing the company's financial lines business and will also be involved in expanding its regional financial institutions market sector.
He was previously financial institutions manager for the UK regions at AIG, and before that, he worked for Marsh’s FinPro division in both its UK retail client and broking divisions.
Jonathan Morgan, Unit Head of Novae Insurance's regional financial lines division, said: “John's remit is to retain and expand the existing account in combination with focusing on new areas such as D&O and FI as well as promoting Novae Insurance as a market leader in the Scottish and Northern Irish financial lines markets. He will play an integral role in setting and implementing strategies that will successfully grow the operation.”
