NIG and FarmWeb have renewed their agricultural insurance partnership for another five years.
Elaine Pyke, FarmWeb's chief executive, said: “NIG has been the approved insurance provider for our brokers since 2002 and I am delighted that the successful partnership will continue. We have a superb working relationship with NIG who, like us, are fully committed to providing a first class service to our brokers and the agricultural sector. We look forward to building on this strong collaboration to the mutual benefit of both our organisations.”
Charles Crawford, NIG's managing director commented: “FarmWeb is an innovative business aimed specifically at the agricultural community. NIG is delighted to have the opportunity to develop this partnership further through providing better services in the future, including technology investment. This will present FarmWeb brokers and their customers with increased benefits and efficiencies.”
Pyke added: “Over the years, NIG has made a considerable investment in technology enabling us to continually enhance the service we give our customers. Most recently FarmWeb launched ‘Connect' to its 87 members providing an internet based solution to writing business, thus cutting down the time scale for issuing policy documents as well as improving accuracy and thus efficiency. ‘Connect' was developed for us by NIG and is the first of its kind in the agricultural sector.”
