NIG raids RSA to focus on property owners

Stewart Anderson has joined NIG from RSA to lead a team developing a new UK wide property owners offering.

The new product, aimed at property owners, managers and developers with UK commercial or residential portfolios in excess of 10 properties, is due to be unveiled later this year.

Anderson is becoming NIG’s head of property owners having formerly been an account manager with RSA’s property owners team.

Anderson said: “I’m excited to be joining NIG and by our plans for the Property Owners sector. We’re developing a brand new product which will be supported by a flexible underwriting approach and first class service to our brokers across the UK.

"As well as having property owners underwriters in each of our regional centres we are also establishing a brand new property owners team which will based in London servicing our City and West End brokers. We have big ambitions for the property owners market and I think brokers and their clients will be very interested in what we’ve got to offer.”

NIG has also recruited Ray Robinson to work with Anderson.
