NIG has appointed Phillip Jones to the newly created role of schemes development manager.
Jones will be responsible for providing a stronger relationship management focus on NIG's existing commercial schemes brokers and explore new commercial schemes opportunities. He will report to David Parker, NIG director of distribution.
Jones joins the commercial key accounts team from his current role as area sales manager in NIG's branch network. Prior to joining NIG he held key account management roles at Royal & SunAlliance.
Commenting on the appointment David Parker, NIG director of distribution, said: “Phillip has a passion for working with brokers and will be a real asset to NIG's business. His arrival will further strengthen our Commercial key accounts team, giving us a real edge in this highly competitive area. Phillip brings a wealth of insurance knowledge and a great understanding of the market to the role. I am delighted to welcome him to the team.”
