’He will reimagine the future-state operating model for insurance,’ says president

Xceedance has announced the appointment of Brandon Nuttall as its new chief digital and artificial intelligence (AI) officer.

Nuttall, who joined the firm in December 2024, will help Xceedance clients include generative AI into daily operations.

He will also help them utilise generative AI to help design, build and deliver products that align with end users.

Commenting on his appointment, Nuttall said: “In this new and exciting role at Xceedance, I look forward to working with our clients to design, build and deliver products that really speak to the needs of end users.

“By using generative AI to improve the way insurance works, we can help our industry deliver compelling products to the people and industries who need them most.”

Experience

Nuttall brings over 20 years of experience to his new role.

He joins from EY, which he joined in 2014 as a senior manager in its insurance platforms team.

Since then, he held a number of roles with the firm and was most recently a partner for non-equity.

Prior to EY, he held the position of senior implementation architect at Guidewire Software.

Xceedance said: “With a technical background in computer science, Nuttall has expertise in digital architecture, infrastructure and environments, as well as supporting best practice implementations of insurance technology solutions on an international scale.”
