WTW has appointed Gavin Hamilton as a director within its international property team.
Based in London, Hamilton will report into Edward Day, head of international property, in his new role.
Hamilton will bring more than 30 years of industry experience to the company.
“I am delighted to be joining WTW and bringing my industry experience for the benefit of both clients and markets,” he said.
“WTW’s specialised industry focused approach, matched with diverse and innovative talent, was a huge attraction to join. I am very much looking forward to working with Ed and the team.”
Experience
Hamilton joins WTW from Miller Insurance Services, where he headed up the European wholesale and South African property markets.

Before this, he was the senior vice president of international property at Marsh.
“Hamilton’s extensive industry knowledge and experience will be greatly valued within our existing talented and diverse team,” Day said.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
