’It’s another great example of Clear investing in smaller brokers,’ says chief executive
The Clear Group has continued its acquisition spree with the purchase of regional broker Miles Archer Limited, a statement released today (19 September 2023) said.
Miles Archer is based in Kent and specialises in property owners insurance.
The acquisition will see the firm work with Clear’s property owner’s team to drive cross sell opportunities.
Mike Edgeley, group chief executive of Clear, said: “Miles Archer adds further scale and expertise to the Clear business.
“It’s another great example of Clear investing in smaller brokers as we continue to build a balanced and sustainable business.”

This came after Clear announced last week (14 September 2023) that it had purchased Heath Crawford and Foster Holdings.

Like with Miles Archer, Clear said acquiring the firm was part of its long-term strategy to “build a balanced and sustainable business”.
And earlier in the year (7 July 2023), the insurance broker said it had acquired Mayor Broking and MJB Finningley.
High Wycombe-based Mayor Broking, which was incorporated on Companies House in February 2007, provides insurance solutions for property owners, fleet, commercial motor and high net worth (HNW) properties.
MJB Finningley, meanwhile, was incorporated in April 2014 and is based in Doncaster.
The specialist broker provides risk management solutions across fleet, commercial motor and commercial combined.
