Insurance Times rounds up the biggest appointments and promotions from 18 November to 22 November

Starting off the week, Direct Line Group (DLG) confirmed that Ash Jokhoo will be leaving the insurer at the end of 2024.

Jokhoo joined the business in November 2021 and has held the role of chief information officer for the last three years.

Then, RSA confirmed that Steve Watson, managing director of UK specialty lines, is leaving the insurer.

He will be replaced by Jonathan Cope, who is RSA’s general counsel and company secretary, as well as managing director of personal lines.

Following this, software provider Open GI appointed former BGL Insurance chief executive Peter Thompson as its new chair.

Thompson spent 17 years at BGL, five of which as the top boss, before stepping down in February 2023.

And then, RSA announced that Nadia Cote will be joining the insurer as the chief executive of its Luxembourg arm.

Cote is moving to the firm from Allianz, where she most recently served as the UK commercial managing director.

Rounding off the week, DLG confirmed that c-suite Vicky Wallis is retiring.

Wallis joined the insurer in 2020 and held the role of chief people officer for the last four years.
