Insurance Times rounds up the biggest appointments and promotions from 14 to 18 October 2024
Starting off the week, Aon named Emma Crookes as the new global head of its insurance vertical.
In her new role, Crookes will work with more than 20 segment teams across five regions to explore common themes across insurer segments to help clients with their plans.
Then, Price Forbes Re appointed Colin Kelley as its new chief commercial officer.
In the newly created role, Kelley will work with the insurance, reinsurance and capital markets teams to develop propositions for clients and trading partners.
Following this, Gallagher appointed ex-Crawford leader Lisa Bartlett as the new managing director of its Birmingham office.
In her new role, Bartlett will be responsible for leading and expanding Gallagher’s Birmingham-based broking team of over 150 risk professionals.
And then, (re)insurance broker Miller appointed Clare Lebecq as its new chief operating officer following her departure from Specialist Risk Group (SRG).
In her new role, Lebecq will use her retail and wholesale expertise to support Miller’s operational capabilities.
Rounding off the week, McLarens appointed Alistair Jacob as its first head of London international.
In the newly created role, Jacob will be responsible for strengthening the firm’s Lloyd’s and London market offering, as well as coordinating assignments that come through its London international hub.
His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
