’We are now able to realise our growth ambitions,’ says chief executive
Specialist marine managing general agent (MGA) Amphitrite Underwriting London has received full approval from the FCA.
The authorisation came into effect from 31 January 2024, a statement released yesterday (26 February 2024) said.
This came following six years of Tysers acting as the MGA’s regulatory principal, supporting the business through its growth since 2018.
Amphitrite said getting FCA authorisation marked a “pivotal moment in our journey, opening up new avenues for growth and opportunity”.
“We are now fully equipped to continue our commitment to excellence, transparency and innovation,” it added.
