‘I look forward to working with the board and our management team,’ says new appointee
Sabre Insurance has appointed Rebecca Shelley as its new chair following the passing of Andy Pomfret.
The insurer announced Pomfret had passed away in November last year and appointed Shelley as acting chair.

“I am delighted to have been appointed chair of Sabre at a time when the company continues to make excellent progress on its strategic objectives,” Shelley said.
“I look forward to working with the board and our management team to build on this progress as we continue to deliver for our customers and stakeholders.”
Experience
Shelley has commercial and financial services experience, having held several senior executive positions at Norwich Union, Prudential, Tesco and TP ICAP.
