Around 11 brokers within its speciality division will now operate as PIB Insurance Brokers
Broker PIB Group has completed its nationwide rebrand project, with the 11 brokers within its speciality division now operating under one name - PIB Insurance Brokers (PIB IB).
Businesses under the PIB IB umbrella include Cooke and Mason, DE Ford, Franklands, Lorica, PIB Private Clients, PIB SME Insurance, QPI, Wilby (including Websters Insurance Brokers), WW Group, BKG West, Cobra Insurance Brokers and QPI.
This division has 500 employees across 30 national branches – existing teams and contacts will remain the same.
The restructure aimed to simplify PIB’s specialist commercial lines portfolio – the company has grown excessively through acquisitions, meaning the network of brands working alongside PIB IB had become more complex.
The project, therefore, created a newly expanded specialty division for specialist commercial lines, supported by in-house claims handling and a risk management team.
The rebrand, which was originally announced in June, has expanded PIB IB’s areas of specialism to include professions, property, construction, transportation, trade credit, real estate, leisure, construction, haulage and charities.
‘Important milestone’
Steve Redgwell, chief executive of PIB’s specialty division, said: “PIB Group has seen significant progress in a short space of time since its formation, alongside PIB Insurance Brokers as the original group company.
“Moving our specialist commercial businesses to trade under a single brand represents an important milestone in our evolution which will enable us to continue growing, while further strengthening the service we deliver to our valued clients.
“This is an incredibly exciting time as we continue expanding our range of services and niche sectors we work with. Collaboration plays a massive part in PIB’s culture, with our people genuinely at the heart of what we’re all about.
“Bringing these specialist commercial lines businesses under one brand will ensure we take even more of a unified approach and develop further strength as a collective for the benefit of our clients.”
