Percayso Inform managing director Rich Tomlinson looks back to the 2023 Tech and Innovation Awards, where his firm scooped gold for Technology Partner of the Year
What made you enter the category you did and why do you think your entry stood out to the judges?
We’re focused on developing solutions to give insurers, brokers and MGAs the insurance intelligence, insights and tools they need to solve the problems they are facing and ultimately write better business.
Our Percayso Vehicle Intelligence was the first of its kind to offer granular vehicle by vehicle detail in real time and intelligently use that data to help our clients underwrite motor policies competitively.
It’s a great example of what we do day in day out and the Technology Partner of the Year judges really understood the tangible benefits that it delivers, not only to our clients, but also their customers.
What did winning this award mean to you and your firm?
We were absolutely thrilled to win gold for the second year running. These are the perfect awards for us to be part of and to win not once, but twice, represents a massive achievement as well as endorsement for what we’re all about.
Our team have worked really hard to deliver for our clients, working in true partnership with them which we believe is essential to the success of our relationships.
To be recognised for that effort by the industry is a real honour – and a motivator to try and make it three in a row this year!
What is your top tip for entering the awards?
I’d encourage anyone thinking of entering to give it a go!
It really helps if you focus in on what your innovation or technology actually delivers and provide some solid evidence of the difference it is making to your clients or their customers as that’s what’s really important.
Also, make sure your passion for what you’re trying to achieve comes across – after all, if you’re not enthusiastic about your entry, why should the judges be?
You can enter this year’s Tech and Innovation Awards here until 11 June 2024
