Partners& has appointed Rebecca Merry as its new managing partner for schemes.
In her new role, Merry will be responsible overseeing and bolstering the broker’s schemes for photography, electrical contracting, recruitment, gyms, art and performing arts.
She will report to Ross Dingwall, managing partner for specialty.
He said: “Last year was great for our schemes business – we won Schemes Broker of the Year, we delivered our objectives and we now have a plan in place for continued growth.
“I’m delighted that Becci has accepted the role and I have no doubt she will take it to the next level.”

Merry joined Partners& in 2023 as a client service partner after spending three years at Marsh Commercial.

There, she held several senior roles, such as senior vice president and operations director.
Speaking about taking up her new role, Merry said: “Our schemes team is full of talented, passionate and committed professionals and I’m thrilled with the opportunity I have ahead of me to coach and lead them on to the next phase of our growth.”
His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
