’Having worked in insurance pricing for over 30 years, I realise the importance of underwriting for the industry,’ says co-founder
Insurtech and underwriting software provider Optalitix has partnered with the Insurance Knowledge Hub to help underwriters with their understanding of workbenches.
The deal will see the Insurance Knowledge Hub provide a new CPD accredited online course, which has been developed in partnership with Optalitix, on its platform.
Called Mastering Underwriting Workbenches, the course aims to provide professionals with the knowledge and skills required to use workbenches.
It will also aim to help underwriters expand their knowledge of pricing systems and artificial intelligence (AI).
Dani Katz, co-founder at Optalitix, said: “We are proud to partner with the Insurance Knowledge Hub and to give something back to the market by sharing our specialist expertise in this ground breaking technical area of underwriting.
“Having worked in insurance pricing for over 30 years, I realise the importance of underwriting for the industry.”
Modules
The course has 10 video modules and will last for around 50 minutes. The course is then followed by a multiple choice assessment that takes between 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
