Hoskins has been with Hastings since April 2015
Hastings chief financial officer Richard Hoskins has retired from his role.
The group has announced that he will be replaced with John Worth, currently the group chief financial officer of MS Amlin.
Worth is expected to join the Hastings board in the next few months, and will work with Hoskins to ensure a smooth handover.
Toby van der Meer, group chief executive of Hastings, said: “I am delighted to welcome John to Hastings and look forward to working with him as we continue our profitable growth trajectory.
“I would also like to thank Richard and wish him well for the future”.
In the past five years Worth, a chartered accountant, has worked for the Co-operative Bank and Hiscox. He is also currently a non-executive director for the NSPCC.
Gary Hoffman, chair of Hastings, added: “Richard has played a significant role guiding the group through its IPO in October 2015 and in the past four years has helped it deliver sustained profitable growth underpinned by disciplined cost management. I would like to thank him for his contribution”.
