He leaves after a decade at Marsh
A managing director of Marsh, Nick Roscoe, is leaving after a decade to join insurtech Concirrus as its chief operating officer.
He has joined the insurtech to “oversee company operations with a focus on ensuring customer success and to develop and strengthen the relationships that it has with its partners within the market.”
Roscoe will report to Andy Yeoman, the insurtech’s chief executive.
Yeoman added: “As we continue our progress in the market it’s fundamental that we have deep domain expertise in our customers’ business. We’re really pleased to be able to have him as part of the team.
“Nick has had an illustrious career in the marine insurance industry and possesses a very deep network in the London and worldwide markets.”
Roscoe believes that the insurance industry is going to “radically change.”
He explained: “We are already delivering real value, and there is huge potential for the future.
“I’m looking forward to working across the table with old insurance colleagues and new connections alike as they develop their business models to succeed in the digital age.”
Roscoe has worked in different roles at Marsh as managing director UK of marine and global specialities.
Concirrus is a marine and motor analytics insurtech which was founded in 2012 and is based in London.
It follows Bala Viswanathan, a senior JLT figure joining Marsh-owned firm Mercer as its new chief operating officer.
