’Her extensive experience and board-level perspective makes her the ideal person,’ says chief executive officer
The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has appointed Elizabeth Jenkin as its new underwriting director, effective 9 October 2023.
Jenkin will report to LMA’s chief executive officer Sheila Cameron and replaces Patrick Davison.
She will bring over 23 years of experience to her new role, including a 19 year tenure at Aon.
At Aon, Jenkin joined as a director before being made chief broking officer in 2016. She then left Aon in 2018 to join RFIB Group, before leaving in 2020.
Jenkin also holds a position as an independent non-executive director at Gallagher.
Influencing change
A statement explained that she would “play a key part” in working with the Corporation of Lloyd’s, LMA’s members and the Lloyd’s market in “offering a unique and unparalleled contribution to influence change in the marketplace”.

Commenting on her appointment, Jenkin added: “Under the leadership of Sheila and the wider executive team, the LMA facilitates success for the marketplace.
