Lloyd’s of London has appointed Nathan Adams as its new chief people officer.
Adams will join Lloyd’s in early 2025 and become part of the marketplace’s executive committee, reporting into chief executive John Neal.
The new appointee joins Lloyd’s from Aviva, where he has held senior roles in human resources (HR) and transformation since joining in 2014. Most recently, he worked as chief people officer for Aviva Investors and but was also previously head of HR for the insurer.
Adams also previously worked as head of HR for Barclays Bank and as HR manager for the Arcadia Group.
He will replace incumbent Sara Gomez, who will retire from the role she has held at Lloyd’s since 2021 at the end of 2024.
Outstanding experience
Commenting on the new appointment, Neal said: ”Adams is a strong leader with outstanding experience driving the people agenda in large organisations. He will be a great addition to the team as we continue to focus on promoting an inclusive, high-performance culture across Lloyd’s.
