’We’re excited to formally align our global business,’ says chief executive
US-based Hadron Specialty has confirmed that it will be rebranding Folgate Insurance after acquiring the London insurer earlier this year.
Hadron entered the UK market in February 2024 with its acquisition of Folgate, a firm which specialises in commercial insurance.
Now that the deal has gone through, Folgate will be rebranded to Hadron UK Insurance Company Limited, upon receipt of secretary of state approval.
Under the new banner, the business will continue to support all in-force policies with the same service.

Meanwhile, Hadron also announced that it had made three new c-suite appointments.
