’We’re thrilled to have joined the MGAA as a supplier member,’ says chief executive
Insurance training provider Wiser Academy has joined the Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) as a supplier member.
The move will allow Wiser Academy to work closer with MGAs across the sector, offering tailored training programmes.
Crescens George, chief executive at Wiser Academy, said: “We’re thrilled to have joined the MGAA as a supplier member.
“As a leading provider of training and development, we look forward to collaborating with its members to enhance skills, foster innovation and contribute to the growth and success of the industry.”
Talent
The move comes after Mike Keating, chief executive at the MGAA, told Insurance Times in May 2024 that the association was approaching 230 members.

And he said that the working environment of an MGA was a significant draw for talented staff.
“Staff can see the opportunity to deploy their skills and training in an agile and entrepreneurial environment within the MGA,” he explained.
Speaking about Wiser Academy joining the MGAA, Keating said: “[Its] commitment to excellence in insurance education aligns perfectly with our mission to support and enhance the capabilities of MGAs across the industry.
“We look forward to the valuable insights and contributions Wiser Academy will bring to our community.”
