Then, junior reporter Chantal Kapani provided this month’s Big Debate feature on software platforms, asking industry experts about how insurance sector firms could mitigate the risk of their cutting-edge technology becoming legacy technoloy. 

After that, Kapani also sent in this month’s Big Question feature, which examined how brokers could support directors in navigating the ever-changing world of regulation to mitigate directors and officers (D&O) claims. 

Later in the week, Insurance Times contributor Tim Evershed sent in his own feature on how the insurance sector could respond to the rising number of homeowners that are eschewing home insurance.

And topping off the week, technology editor Clare Ruel investigated the trend of companies appointing chief artificial intelligence officers to their c-suites – and what this may mean for the burgeoning technology.
