’I am thrilled to be bringing my skills and experience to this new role,’ says appointee

Flood warning insurtech Previsico has promoted Colin Ross to the role of chief operating officer.

In his new role, Ross will oversee technical operations, driving project management frameworks and ensure delivery of the company’s advanced IoT systems in the UK and US markets.

His promotion comes following four and a half years with the insurtech, most recently as its head of service.

Ross said: “I am thrilled to be bringing my skills and experience to this new role, as Previsico continues to experience strong growth and increased market traction for its cutting-edge live flood forecasting solutions.

“I look forward to expanding our support in helping businesses become more flood resilient, both in the UK and US.”

Experience

Ross’ expertise spans managing project management functions, optimising business processes and ensuring the smooth operation of technical systems.

Prior to his time at Previsico, Ross was a senior project manager at Barratt Developments. He also worked at Hive for eight years.

Jonathan Jackson, chief executive at Previsico, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Ross into the role of chief operating officer as we continue to deliver the world’s leading real-time surface water flood forecast technology.

“His vast experience and expertise in systems and project management will be an enormous asset in his role leading the technical operations for the company.”
