As gameweek 15 approaches, is it time to sell Haaland, or are big returns just around the corner?

It’s been quite the week for Fantasy Football managers.

The top 10 managers

As one gameweek ended last Sunday (1 December 2024), another one began just two days later.

A midweek run of matches was always likely to cause swings in the table, given managers usually resort to rotating their players.

For example, Cheslea’s Nicholas Jackson was one of the most transferred in players for the midweek games, but he was not played despite being a regular at the weekends.

So, how does that leave the Insurance Times table heading into gameweek 15? Well it is Alan Kirkwood who leads the way, with him having a total of 938 points.

Bernardo Gomes is close behind in second with 934 points, while Hayden Williams is third with 929 points.

Talking points

It’s fair to say that Mohammed Salah has become a non-negotiable pick for Fantasy Football managers.

The Liverpool forward is constantly scoring at the moment and managed to secure two more goals during Wednesday’s game against Newcastle.

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer has also returned to goal scoring form, with him securing 21 points over the last two gameweeks.

The big question is what to do with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland. There is no doubting how threatening he is in front of goal, but since gameweek six has not delivered anywhere near the rate of rivals.

He currently costs 15m and transferring him out could help create a better all round squad.

However, he got a return in the last gameweek and the fixtures are starting to look more favourable.

So, holding onto him for that bit longer could prove to be beneficial.
