Chief executive says the move marks a ‘significant investment’
Earnix has expanded its London office as it looks to continue making “good progress” in the City market.
The insurtech is based in Devonshire Square, Liverpool Street, and has bought more floor space after increasing its staff numbers.
Speaking to Insurance Times at the Earnix Excelerate conference on day two (26 September 2024), Robin Gilthorpe, chief executive at Earnix, said the move was a ”significant investment” and that it would help in “deepening the firm’s footprint”.
Gilthorpe added: “The reason for that [is because there] has been good progress in the local [and] European market, as well as using that as a hub. We have people in Paris, Munich and so forth. Over the past couple of years, we have tripled [and broadened] our staff.
“We have customers in 35 different countries, which both proves the value of the platform, but also gives [Earnix] plenty of opportunities to learn and feed these learnings back into the platform.”
Growth
Earnix moved into its London space in September 2023 due to its customer base growing and the insurtech doubling its employees in the City.

Gilthorpe said: “We have almost all the functions present in that London office, we have product management [staff], development, support, operations and help desk. We have the full spectrum of marketing.
”That’s the focus that we’ve had and we’re going to continue it for the next year or two.”
