The appointee ’has spent her career delivering operational excellence,’ says joint chief executive
Consilium has appointed Marie McCutcheon as its new chief operating officer (COO) to take responsibility for its operational development.
McCutcheon joins the global specialty (re)insurance broker business of parent Aventum Group from TT Club Mutual Insurance, where she was employed as process consultant.
Since April 2024, McCutcheon had also been employed by Aventum as a process specialist on a contracted basis.
The appointee has previously worked in senior operations roles at Marsh, Bluefin – where she was the COO in charge of integration into Marsh – Canopius, Novae and Swiss Re and has experience of leading business change and “operational process optimisation”.
Her remit at Consilum will involve ensuring that its technology, people and operations “work in unison” to deliver customer experience gains.
