It is the brokers first foray into the insurance market
CarFinance 247 has appointed Ignite Systems as the first software partner for its launch into the private motor sector.
It will be hosted on insurtech, Ignite’s software platform, which will leverage the value of existing credit and identity checks already performed.
It will also be offered to the car insurance broker’s entire client base.
Andy Tait, head of insurance at CarFinance 247 said the company was looking to launch its new car insurance service to customers with an “innovative software house” that could provide deliver both flexibility and speedy alongside a strong panel of rates.
He said: “Ignite fit this bill perfectly and is the right partner for supporting our mission to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.”
Toby MacLachlan, managing director at Ignite said the launch highlights the firm’s ability to bring innovative car insurance solutions to market quickly.
He said: “We’re proud to be working with CarFinance 247 in their first foray into the insurance market, making it quick and easy for their customers to get a policy through our highly automated system, matching their processes in providing financing.”
Ignite Systems is a web-based insurance software provider offering technology for insurance brokers and MGA’s. It provides a complete back and front office system for insurance businesses.
In February this year, the insurtech was appointed by the independent broker, Access Insurance Services (Access) as its digital platform provider.
Last year Ignite partnered with Marmalade to offer telematics to young drivers.
CarFinance 247 is an online car finance specialist which was established in 2006 and has a current run rate of 65,000 written agreements every year providing a total funding to customers of nearly half a billion.
Last year, it agreed a deal to relocate its 420-strong team under one roof to the Ardwick area of Manchester.
