’We’ve put in steps to make the renewal process seamless,’ says chief executive
Specialist cycle and e-mobility insurer Bikmo has acquired the renewal rights to customers of Cyclesure, a statement released today (31 August 2023) revealed.
Liverpool-based Cyclesure is an insurance provider that has specialised in the cycling market for over 25 years.
Bikmo said it had acquired the firm’s customer renewal rights as part of plans to expand its UK footprint.
“I’m excited to build on the commitment and service Cyclesure has provided to their customers over the years,” Bikmo chief executive David George said.

Bikmo said it would ensure a smooth transition so customers can continue to ride protected.

When riders go to renew their policy with the firm, they will be offered a range of different cover options.
This includes theft, accidental damage, clothing, helmet and event cover.
Customers will also be offered multi-bike and e-bike discounts.
“We’ve put in the steps to make the renewal process from Cyclesure to Bikmo seamless and the whole team is delighted to welcome their customers,” George added.
