’He has the skills, experience and vision to take our architecture, data and AI capabilities to the next level,’ says chief operating officer
(Re)insurance firm Aspen has promoted Tony Bishop to the role of chief data and analytics officer.
In his new position, Bishop will take responsibility for overseeing the data and analytics strategy, as well as the firm’s recently launched data labs.
The platform, which was launched in June 2024, aims to improve operational efficiency and business results in underwriting and claims processes.
“The commitment and determination from all levels to embrace data and find ways to improve the way we do business has been inspiring,” Bishop said.
“With everyone pulling in the same direction, it enables us to execute quickly and take advantage of new technology.
“There are many more opportunities for us to exploit data and AI across our business, so I am honoured and excited to have this opportunity to support our users through the next phase of our data journey.”
