’We’re looking forward to expanding the value we can create for both our current and future clients,’ says chief executive
Ardonagh-owned intermediary Towergate Health and Protection has rebranded following its latest acquisition.
The firm, which is part of SME broking platform Ardonagh Advisory, acquired employee benefits business Benefiz on 7 October 2024.
With the deal adding a range of new services to the intermediary, it has decided to change its name to Towergate Employee Benefits.
Iain Laws, chief executive at Towergate Employee Benefits, said: “Benefiz is a strategic addition to our business, which will contribute to our ongoing growth through the addition of benefits technology platforms and pension administration capabilities.
”This will help us meet growing demand from larger businesses for a holistic approach to employee benefits and marks our evolution into a comprehensive employee benefits advisor.”
Growth plan
The move is also the next step in the intermediary’s strategic growth plan.

Laws said: “These are exciting times. We’ve built strong foundations looking after our clients by offering award-winning service across our propositions through our talented team.
“We’re looking forward to expanding the value we can create for both our current and future clients across an even broader range of services to benefit employers and their people.”
