’The increased complexity of global risks and the London market’s track record of innovation makes our Global Broking Centre more relevant than ever,’ says commercial risk chief executive
International broker Aon has promoted Tracy-Lee Kus to head up its London-based Global Broking Centre.
Kus will report into commercial risk chief executive Joe Peiser and succeeds interim Global Broking Centre head Mark Peter, who will retire in the coming weeks.
She brings more than 30 years’ experience of working in the insurance industry across South Africa, Singapore and the UK.
Following a short stint at Aon as a director of its risk solutions business between 2002 and 2006, Kus returned to Aon in 2012 and has remained at the firm since, having held the role of head of financial lines between 2012 and 2021.
Most recently however, Kus worked in Singapore as Aon’s head of commercial risk for the Asia Pacific region and North Asia.
Her promotion to head of the company’s Global Broking Centre will see her return to London and take up her new role from 1 September 2024.
Global perspective
Aon’s statement explained that Kus’ new role would provide her with the opportunity to lead the development of Aon’s Global Broking Centre and focus on developing client relationships through the broker’s risk capital and client treaty capabilities.
Commenting on Kus’ promotion, Peiser said: ”The increased complexity of global risks and the London market’s track record of innovation makes our Global Broking Centre more relevant than ever.
“Kus has the leadership skills and global perspective to increase the Global Broking Centre’s impact with colleagues, clients and underwriting partners and I am delighted to welcome her into this important role.”
Peiser also thanked interim head Peter for his “excellent stewardship” of Aon’s Global Broking Centre.
