’I’m delighted that he has joined Aon,’ says UK chief executive
Aon has appointed Neil Davies as its new chief operating officer for the UK, Ireland and South Africa.
In his new role, Davies will be in charge of operations in these areas and work closely with technology leaders on initiatives to enhance client service and support growth.
His appointment was announced by Aon in a LinkedIn post, which was shared by UK chief executive Jane Kielty.
“I’m delighted that Davies has joined Aon and am looking forward to working with you,” she said.
Experience
Davies joins Aon from AIG Life, where he was most recently chief operating officer. Before this, he was the commercial director at the firm.

His career has also seen him work as the deputy chief executive for UK insurance at HSBC and the senior manager for Europe risk and actuarial at EY.
His career began at Aviva, with him working as the director of marketing for 18 years.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
