Aioi Nissay Dowa Europe (And-E) has appointed Phil Norris as its new chief product innovation officer.
A statement released today (31 October 2023) said the mobility insurance provider had created the role to help it capatalise on opporunities as advancement in new drivetrains and autonomous solutions continue.
It means that Norris will be responsible for ensuring new products and services fit And-E’s business strategy and vision.
”The mobility market is entering an exciting phase and And-E has a strong track record to deliver protection solutions that are fit for purpose,” Norris said.
“My new role will bring together commercial, market and future insight from both within and outside the business to identify, develop and deliver the right products to meet the ever-changing market needs.”
Experience
Norris joined And-E in 2006 as head of group marketing before taking up his most recent role of director of mobility and transition in 2019.

In his new position, he will report to group chief executive Michael Kainzbauer.
”With his extensive experience across several aspects of the And-E business, including Toyota Financial Services and Toyota’s mobility business, Phil Norris is well placed to lead the new group product innovation team,” Kainzbauer said.
“It is critical that, to remain at the forefront of the mobility protection space, we look both within and outside our organisation.
”In the role of chief product innovation officer, Phil will be the catalyst to do this, aligning our capabilities and infrastructure so that we can develop and deliver solutions that meet the needs of our current and future customers.”
