’We knew the team would be a great fit for us,’ says executive chairman
Alan Boswell Group (ABG) has expanded its broking portfolio with the acquisition of The Insurance Centre (TIC).
Norwich-based TIC is a broker that has expertise in taxi and driving schools’ insurance.
The deal will see TIC integrate into ABG’s existing office in Norwich, with all staff transferring over to the new base as part of the transaction.
“We knew the team would be a great fit for us,” Alan Boswell, executive chairman of ABG, said.
“With years of expertise and a shared ethos, they align seamlessly with our values.”
’Smooth transition’
The move comes as part of the ABG’s plans to bolster its presence in the East of England.

ABG said the consolidation of resources would allow for a “smooth transition” of TIC clients and enable the group to further enhance its service.
Stuart Burgess, managing director of TIC, said: “We are excited to join ABG and continue providing our clients with the same level of care and dedication they have come to expect.
“By becoming part of a larger brokerage, we can leverage their extensive resources and expertise to enhance the value we provide to our clients.”
