Group confirms opening of new Miami office.
THB has appointed Craig Kingaby and Steve Carr to lead its International Property Division.
Kingaby and Carr were brought into THB in 2007 to develop the group’s international focus and as part of this initiative they assisted THB in making the acquisition of PWS International in January.
In line with the group's International ambitions, THB has opened an office based in Miami, focusing on International property, casualty, construction and energy/utility business in the Caribbean and Central America. The office is managed by senior international market figures, Juan Rivera and Ron Benedit.
Frank Murphy, chief executive of Thompson Heath & Bond Ltd, confirmed that some individuals within the PWS International Property Division had chosen to resign.
Murphy, said: “With a global reach, THB is able to provide comprehensive access to all key markets for its international clients. We see significant opportunities for growth in our Singapore operation and the new office in Miami will also allow us to engage more effectively with our Caribbean and Central American client base. These developments give THB a more balanced portfolio backed by an extremely dynamic, senior management team in London.”
