Broker-only insurer opens offices in Manchester and Birmingham

Insurer MMA Insurance is boosting its regional presence with the opening of offices in both Manchester and Birmingham.

The broker-only insurer said the move was a key step in its ambitious growth plans and develops MMA’s regional trading environment dedicated to bespoke commercial business.

The two offices, which opened for business this month, will provide North West, Yorkshire, Midlands and Wales-based brokers with access to integrated underwriting and development teams.

They follow hard on the heels of MMA establishing its Glasgow office, which opened last October, bringing MMA to a total of three regional offices in addition to its Reading headquarters.

MMA said eacg office had integrated teams of underwriters and development managers. There is a team of seven in Manchester and a team of four in Birmingham.

To achieve this, we know that we have to provide our broker partners with accessible, specialist expertise to help them develop their own SME business.
