New offering will cover non-standard construction, let properties and higher claims experience tolerance risks
Midas Underwriting has announced the launch of a new non-standard electronic data interchange (EDI) home product with insurance technology provider SSP, which is available to users immediately.
By working closely with SSP and adapting its rating and underwriting rules, the product will cater for risks which would normally be referred or declined, including non-standard construction, let properties, higher claims experience tolerance, listed buildings and unoccupied properties.
Midas Underwriting managing director of UK operations Mike Keating said: “We are delighted to bring this product to our broker customers which complements our own Business 2 Business portal that caters for the more complex non-standard home risks. The early response from our brokers is extremely encouraging and the fact that the product is full cycle allows our broker customers to respond quickly to their own.”
